Corrections Policy

We correct errors promptly and transparently. When we fix a factual error in a story, we note the correction at the bottom of the article with the date it was made.

We do not unpublish stories except in rare cases involving safety or legal orders; when we do, we say so.

To request a correction, use the contact form and choose the Correction topic. Include the story URL and the fact you believe is wrong.
